R&D SUPERMOUNT Flexible Marine Engine Mount

R&D 'SUPERMOUNTS' Engine mounts :

• Preloaded and soft to eliminate the vertical dampening “dead zone” found in conventional mounts.
• Fore and aft, variable vibration dampening to match the vibration pattern of the engine.
• Two stage athwartships dampening offers vibration control not available with round mounts.
• Positive metal to metal connection provides full load security in a roll over.
• A stainless steel oil shield protects the rubber element from petroleum and chemical damage.

The R&D Shear Mount is a low height rectangular mounting giving the best combination of lateral stiffness, ie.
Direction A - Soft to issolate vibration.
Direction B - Soft to issolate vibration at right angles to crankshaft.
Direction C - Stiff to take propeller thrust.
It is fitted with an oil sheild to protect the rubber.
